Spain for the winter sun.

Now that the snow finally arrived in the UK – we were scheduled to head to the Costa del Sol.    It took the best part of 4 days for me to take my ski jacket off.   The limited winter sun didn’t stand a chance against the wind, and on one day continuous rain.   We were told it wasn’t normal for this time of year.   We were staying just outside of Fuengirola in a resort.   We could walk into town from the resort, about 15 minutes away.      Fuengirola was a nice enough town, still a bit empty, half term break starts this week.   But so many hotels packed in.   It would be very crowed come summer.

The food for all the week was amazing, and really reasonably priced.

We caught the bus up to the pueblo at Mijas – which was lovely – just to get out of town for the day.
