Berlin – Charlottenburg Market

We spent the morning doing the hop on/hop off bus around Berlin.  We were going to do it over 2 days, but got a message this morning that Dyls had missed his connection.   He always knew it would be a possibility so it was no surprise.  What was a surprise was how long it took him to get to the bus stop, where we were meeting him.   As it turns out, his bag didn’t join him on the plane.   Its only in London, so it should arrive tomorrow (famous last words).   So he is here without a change of clothes or anything.

We went to our first Christmas market tonight, in Charlottenburg, which is only a 10 minute walk from our hotel.  It’s in front of the Charlottenburg Palace.   It was a lot of fun.   We’ve found our new favourite drink – hot Baileys!   OMG – put the bottle of Baileys in a saucepan till the contents are warm, pour into a large glass, top with cream and sprinkle with chocolate – drink and repeat.

I was quietly hoping for snow, but we aren’t going to get any, I think its all in Israel.  I doubt if we will get any at Christmas either.  But it is getting cold here.  I had a hat on for a short time today.
