Audlem

We’d planned to stay put today as the weather was meant to be awful, it certainly was when we were walking to the pub last night!!   However when we woke it was sunny and still so we moved.   There was no internet at all where we were, which I hate.   We are now at Norbury Junction, lots of boaty type facilities here.  Yay – big showers.   We came across a man that was pulling his boat back to his home – in Oxford (about 100 miles to go) – so did the good samaritan thing an towed him past 200 yards of moored up boats.  He was very grateful as it would have taken him a couple of hours, he would have had to worry about aerials, chimneys, wood, coal and other boating rubbish on top of the boats moored up.  Or walk along the gunnels on the water side of the boat, which he could only do if there was someone onboard to give him permission.
