Adlington

We moved on as planned, in the sun. We weren’t heading very far as a local marina was recommended to us to repair the tiller arm that I bent in Manchester. While we were there I got him to weld some links to the back deck so when we get a generator we will have something to chain it to. Also he drilled some holes in the cuff thing that is around the top of the diesel tank, the plan being to get a long padlock to prevent the cap being opened a diesel being siphoned off. An while we were on a roll we are getting quotes for a front cratch and some storage on the front deck as well. None of this work can be done until next week and as there is a stoppage on this lock for the next couple of days we will just hang around the area. Big wide canal here and as we are starting to head into the Penines the views are starting to be quite spectacular as well. Currently moored up a Chorley – great supermarket called Booths in the town, very nice.

Maybe a blue door next time
