Higher Poynton

Moved on this morning and waited our turn to fill with water.  And waited and waited.   The water point was on the other side of the bridge to us and close to a marina.  In the end we doubled breasted with a boat on the water point and filled from there.  He was ok with it as they were waiting for people anyway.  I think we would have still been waiting otherwise.  This took longer than we imagined so our plans today were scuppered.  We’ve moored about a mile outside of Higher Poynton now and will probably stay a day or two here.  Catching a bus tomorrow to Buxton.  We stopped for a quick break last time we were driving around, and both of us hoped to be able to spend more time looking around.  I think the day after – same bus but to a National Trust property.DSC_2592
