Loitering in Coventry.

Well the handyman who said no to the roof turned out to be not so handy after all, and decided the rest of the work we need done was too hard.  Now waiting on Handyman V.2, he said he will come today or maybe tomorrow, clearly I have nothing better to do than sit around waiting for V.2 to maybe turn up.

Howard has just gone of with Man with Van to pick up our new Sofa Bed which has been delivered to the Aunties.  Yay.  Comfort.  It hasn’t all been wasted time though, we’ve managed to put in a TV and a Satellite dish.   And the loo should be working some time this afternoon.  There is a bit outside on the roof which is meant to be a “mushroom vent” but we don’t have one of those spare, so at the moment it is an upside down saucepan. Its a bit vital as the toilet needs venting – you can imagine the results otherwise.  The upside down saucepan used to be the chimney – we replaced that while we were in the marina.  Basically the most it will do is keep the rain out.

The Greyhound – thought I would try adding a link -let me know if it worked. Not the best website I’ve ever seen, but a great area to be.   Public transport to Coventry is a 10 minute walk away.
