Huntin’ Elephants

The Melbourne Zoo is celebrating 150 years.   To commemorate this event they have commissioned 50 fibre glass elephants, based on the elephant calf Mali, to be decorated by various local artists.   These are then being displayed in various parts of the city from 10 August to 21 September.   After this time the herd will be taken back to the zoo and later auctioned to raise funds for conservation projects for endangered species both here and at home.

As team exercise project Ky (the other PA) and I decided we’d put our trainers on and try and see as many elephants as we could before they left the city.

Todays elephant is called Neo Composite by Jacqueline Gwynne, you can find him in the valet driveway of the Sofitel
